Elisha Annandale has studied at the Calder's Design School in Johannesburg Rosebank, where she finished 2 years extensive training in the interior design and décor field, she completed with honours after 3 years, working one year practical. Elisha Annandale started her career in Retail, working with well-known retail designers, working on residential interiors and corporate designs. After 6years gaining valuable training and working in the interior design field, for companies like Bako's Brothers, Lionel Levin Interiors and many more. Elisha opened her own Design Studio based in Johannesburg. Décor Identity specialises in a Full turnkey Building solution in the Residential or Leisure market of Interior Design. Working with Architects like SBE, Footprint and Chateau only to mention a few. DID works closely with each client from the day of Council approval to make sure all planning and inception is of great concern before foundation starts. Once Décor Identity gets appointed we start the furniture Layout which we believe is the foundation to any great successful interior space. Once we created the space planning we can finalize the electrical plan, plumbing layout and lighting schedule. We assist the client in the main hard finishes of the house, kitchen designs, floor finishes, wall finishes, feature spaces and focal areas. We will issue the contractor with working drawings and meet on site when specified in order to make sure we stay on top of things at all times. We consider the Interior Décor as a fundamental stage even before the house has been build, to understand the clients need one has to have a clear understanding based on visual aspects of what the clients final requirements are. We offer a full décor Mood board with fabrics and furniture selections to give the client that visual aspect of what we planning for their building project. We then gather ideas and hard finishes to achieve the look. We do believe in starting the process with the décor in order to make sure we have the clients final concept in mind at all times, and that we together with the client understand what the final look will be. We serve our business to make sure each client has their own project portfolio and that each project has its own identity.
